Everyone gets afraid from time to time. For some of us though, certain fears and phobias can dominate our thinking and control portions of our lives. Your condition may have arisen as the result of a traumatic experience, or slowly crept into your life over a period of time. It's even possible that the root cause or beginning of its existence is unknown to you, but the reality of it is that it's present in your daily life. Whatever the reason the symptoms can seriously impact the quality of your life.
When we are faced with our biggest fears we experience tremendous anxiety. Our breathing becomes more rapid as our pulse quickens and our muscles tense up. We may try to shut out whatever it is by closing our eyes, running away or by hiding. Avoidance though, is the way in which most of us prefer to deal with the anxiety of the fear or phobia.

Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy helps to change how your subconscious mind has been taught to react to a situation. Just as your subconscious mind has learned to fear something, it too can learn how not to be fearful. Hypno-therapeutic uncovering techniques help to find where the symptoms were born. This a very pwerful technique I utilise to help empower change.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (CBT),
Cognitive behavioural therapy helps you to change your negative dysfunctional thoughts and emotions towards your irrational fear. This therapy is very effective because it helps you to challenge your negative thinking. This negative thinking leads to negative actions. Cognitive Bahavioural Therapy helps you create positive functional thoughts, emotions and actions.
Counselling
Sometimes just being able to talk through how you feel can be very effective in your treatment. With some people, they find that no one is really interested in their symptoms, so those symptoms can get exaggerated because of the built up anxieties.

What works for one may not neccessarily work for another so this is the reason why I offer a FREE initial consultation, for me to understand fully how your fear or phobia affects your life.
As everyones symptoms and emotions are different, then so are the therapeutic techniques I utilise. The models I use, as listed above, on their own, are very effective as single therapies but when you combine hypnotherapy with cognitive behavioural therapy the results you will see and experience are rapid and permanent.
The results are permanent because it fixes the problem at it's root...your subconscious mind. This is where your emotions and symptoms were born, so its right to work at this subconscious level. Once the emotions behind the cause of your symptoms are released and worked through then they simply disperse because they no longer have a role to play.
