You are helped, initially, to look at your beliefs as to why you smoke and what you believe smoking does for you i.e, "Smoking helps me to de-stress", "I cant go out for a drink and not smoke". You are helped to look at your beliefs to discover if they are fact or if they are simply habits and thoughts which you have learned to accept and adopt. You are helped to change your negative dysfunctional thinking as to why you continue to smoke with the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to stop smoking helps you to change the way in which you think, feel and behave towards cigarettes. At present you believe that cigarettes and smoking goes hand in hand with certain tasks. You are encouraged to challenge these beliefs as to what is fact and what is thoughts and beliefs you have conjured up.

You may have tried to quit smoking before and do you remember how difficult it was? Have you ever asked yourself why it was difficult to stop the habit of smoking? Have you ever wondered why you have been able to stop for a couple of days only to give in to the temptation. Have you ever wondered why you can be on a 10 hour flight and not really think about smoking...Because you can't, only to notice the cravings start appearing as the plane start making it's descend to landing because soon you will be able to smoke again! (This shows that smoking is a habit and not an addiction.) The answer why you found it difficult to stop smoking is because you never changed your thinking patterns towards smoking and cigarettes. Before you can actually quit, and quit permanently, you have to learn the skills of thinking like a non smoker so before you even try to stop your habit of smoking you will need to learn these skills first. Whilst you are learning these new skills to become a non smoker it is ok to keep on smoking. You will stop smoking when you are ready, when your mind is ready. If you try to quit too quickly, like going cold turkey, you may not succeed because you would not have learned the new thinking patterns adequately to think like, and become a non smoker. How Much Does This Stop Smoking Programme Cost?

All consultations are affordably priced at £60 per session when paying session by session. We are currently offering a discount on 6 pre-booked sessions. The cost for the 6 sessions is £295 which offers a discount of £65 over the six sessions. Each session is generally scheduled to last one hour but if it is beneficial for you on the day I may allow the session to overrun to one hour and a half. There is no extra charge for this. Your first session will last two hours. The first hour is free. This hour involves taking all the relevant information and for you to be able to ask any questions you have. The second hour will be the start of your treatment. If you take advantage of the 6 session plan this first 2 hour session is offered free of charge.


As with all therapies and treatments I provide I do not make rash promisses. I always endevour to help my clients achieve long term success in whatever they may be seeking treatment for. I do not offer the quick fix treatment, "Stop smoking in an hour." You may have seen these type of adverts. These quick fix offers cannot possibly deal with all the issues surrounding stopping smoking in just one hour of treatment. This stop smoking programme is not designed as a quick fix. It is designed to help you quit smoking naturally and permanently with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Hypnotherapy which will help you change how your thought processes think and behave towards cigarettes and smoking. You will also be helped to break down the habit so there is no habit anymore.
